David Flannery, MD

Dr. David Flannery is the Medical Director at the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics in Bethesda, MD. Prior to this role he served as an MD Clinical Geneticist at the Medical College of Georgia of Georgia Health Sciences University. He also served as a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of Medical Genetics at the Georgia Health Sciences Children’s Medical Center. He has practiced genetics by telemedicine since 1995, which is the longest continuous telegenetics experience in the nation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Salus Telehealth proceeding 10 years on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Partnership for Telehealth. He serves on national committees of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Medical Genetics, American Medical Association, and the FDA.
